Credited Service Compensated
(slight tweak from IUE-798's table)
Compensated Hours:     Month it might       Years of Credited Service -
    be obtained:   in Tenths:
Based on a 40 hr week schedule
0 but less than 85 hrs                       .0
85 but less than 255     (Jan 22 - 120 hrs)       .1
255 but less than 425     (Feb 19 - 280 hrs)       .2
425 but less than 595     (Mar 19 - 440 hrs)       .3
595 but less than 765     (April 16 - 600 hrs)       .4

935 but less than 1105     (June 18 - 960 hrs)       .6
1105 but less than 1275     (July 16 - 1120 hrs)       .7
1275 but less than 1445     (Aug 13 - 1280 hrs)       .8
1445 but less than 1615     (Sept 17 - 1480 hrs)       .9
1615 and Over       (Oct 15th - 1640 hrs)     1.0
Conversion Table:
Number of Months -- 1 2 4 5 6 7 8 10 11 12
Equivalent Tenths -- .1 .2 .3 .4 .5 .6 .7 .8 .9 1.0
Based on Compensated hours, 1700 hours equals a full year.
(slight problem as that 1700 hrs conflicts with only needing 1615 from above table, not sure how to resolve it)
You can only acquire 1 year of Credited Service per year!
Example -- At the end of 2005, I had 17.7 years of Credited Service.
After July 16th 2006, this gave me .7 so far for this year.
Adding the 17.7 + .7 gives me 18.4 years as of July 16th '06.
If I work until after Oct 15th 2006, this will give me 1.0 for the year..
That's the most I can get, which would be 18.7 years Credited Service.
(or Oct 29th which would give me over 1720 hrs then)
